Description
See which companies read your site, and which pages bring in leads, right inside WordPress.
Most website analytics plugins stop at page views. Landing identifies website visitors at company level and joins your traffic to what pays the bills: who visited your website, the leads each page brings in, and how far people read.
New to Landing? Book a 30-minute intro or see everything Landing does. Every screen also works with sample data, no account needed.
See who visits your website, without leaving WordPress
- Posts and Pages columns. Visitors (with a 7-day trend), leads and companies for every post.
- Page intelligence in the block editor. Who is reading now, which companies read it, how far people scroll, where they come from and the leads it brought in.
- Dashboard widget. The week’s visitors, leads and companies, plus one thing worth a look.
- Landing › Insights. Overview, Companies, Content (ranked by leads, not just views) and Leads.
- Admin bar. Browse your site and see that page’s numbers in one click.
- Site Health checks. Know the tag is installed and working.

Requires a Landing account
Your own data needs a Landing account, opened by application: book an intro at switchtolanding.com. Sample data needs no account and makes no network calls.
Who it’s for
B2B companies, professional services, ecommerce shops, publishers and growing teams.
Privacy and consent
- Nothing is sent anywhere until an administrator presses Sign in with Landing or saves a tag ID.
- With a consent plugin that supports the WP Consent API, the tag follows the visitor’s «statistics» choice.
- Logged-in administrators and editors aren’t tracked by default. You choose who sees insights; individual leads are for administrators only.
- Sign-in tokens are stored encrypted and never reach the browser.
- Adds suggested privacy-policy text (Settings › Privacy › Policy Guide), including the cookies the tag sets.
How pricing works
The plugin is free. Landing plans are billed on your Landing account; plan limits are enforced by Landing’s servers, never locked inside the plugin.
External services
This plugin connects to Landing Platform (landing.pivotal.digital), operated by PVTL Digital Ltd, to show your website analytics in WordPress and add Landing’s tracking tag to your site. Nothing is contacted until an administrator presses «Sign in with Landing» or saves a tag ID. In sample-data mode nothing is contacted at all. Every request carries a user-agent with the plugin and WordPress versions.
- Sign-in details (
/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server): when an administrator presses «Sign in with Landing». Nothing about your site is sent. - Site registration (Landing’s registration endpoint): once per site, at first sign-in. Sends the site’s name and address, the return address after sign-in, and the plugin version.
- Sign-in and token refresh (authorization and token endpoints): your browser visits Landing to approve the connection; the plugin exchanges the one-time code for tokens and renews them about hourly while in use.
- Connect (
/api/v1/sites/connect): after sign-in, and when your site address changes (checked at most hourly while Landing › Settings is open). Sends the site address and name, WordPress, PHP and plugin versions, and whether WooCommerce is active. - Reports (
/api/v1/sites/overview,pages,page,companies,leads,realtime,connection): when someone allowed to see insights opens the dashboard, Posts list, block editor, Insights or the admin bar panel. Sends the date range and the page addresses being viewed. Cached for up to 5 minutes (1 minute for live numbers). Tools › Site Health only reads what is already stored and makes no call. - Disconnect (
/api/v1/sites/connectionand the revocation endpoint): when you press Disconnect. - Tag lookup (
/api/public/tag/{ID}/embed): only when an administrator saves a tag ID under «Already have a tag ID?». Sends the tag ID; nothing about your site or visitors. - Tracking tag (in your visitors’ browsers): while connected, or after you save a tag ID, every front-end page loads
https://landing.pivotal.digital/js/lt.js?id=YOUR-ID. It sends Landing the page viewed, referrer, device and browser type, clicks, scroll depth and form submissions, and sets the cookieslt_visitor_id(90 days) andlt_session. Landing uses the visitor’s IP address to estimate location and, for visits from business networks, the organisation behind the visit. With a WP Consent API plugin the tag waits for the visitor’s «statistics» consent; without one it follows the consent settings of your Landing tag. Switch it off under Landing › Settings. Suggested privacy-policy text is added to Settings › Privacy › Policy Guide.

FAQ
-
How can I see who visited my website?
-
Connect the plugin to Landing. Companies behind business visits appear on the dashboard, in each post’s editor sidebar and under Landing › Insights › Companies, with the pages they read.
-
How does Landing identify companies?
-
Landing matches the network a business visit comes from to the organisation that owns it. Visits from home and mobile networks are not identified. It identifies organisations, not people, and it follows your consent setup.
-
Which blog posts bring in leads?
-
The Leads column in Posts shows leads per post for the last 30 days. Landing › Insights › Content ranks every page by the leads it brings in.
-
Yes, if your consent plugin supports the WP Consent API. When a visitor allows statistics cookies, Landing’s tag is told straight away. You can also set consent rules on the tag in Landing.
-
Is it GDPR compliant?
-
Landing is built to support GDPR compliance: consent-aware tracking, respect for your cookie banner, and no tracking of logged-in staff by default. Whether your site complies depends on how you configure it and on your own privacy notice, so please check with your adviser.
-
Does it slow my site down?
-
No. The tag loads asynchronously, and wp-admin numbers load after the page, cached, with one request for the whole Posts list.
-
Do I need a Landing account?
-
To see your own numbers, yes. Accounts are opened by application: book an intro. Sample-data mode shows every screen without one.
-
Editors can by default. Choose under Landing › Settings › Who can see insights. Individual leads (names and emails) are for administrators only.
-
Can I add the tag without signing in?
-
Yes. Under «Already have a tag ID?», enter your Landing tag ID (it starts with LT-), or paste the whole snippet and the plugin keeps only the ID. It checks the ID with Landing once, then adds the tag through WordPress’s own script loading. Insights in WordPress still need you to sign in.
