The Volunteer's Guide

Description

Helps volunteers to find an international workcamp of the Alliance network directly on your WordPress website.

Allows organisations of the Alliance network to into their website with the use of PLATO. Requires an Alliance membership and your PLATO ID to be of use. PLATO is the official PLAcement TOol for the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations.

  • PLATO search form, integrated as an iFrame [volung_searchform]
  • Interactive world map, countries are linked to workcamp list on PLATO [volung_worldmap]
  • Button to apply for a certain project on PLATO [volung_projectbutton code=”projectcode”]

Installation

  1. Upload directory plato-integration to the WordPress Plugin directory (/wp-content/plugins/)
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Configure the plugin in WordPress admin
  4. Place shortcodes on pages
